ICU Staff less than professional and not really concerned about their critically ill patients. Staff nurse and shift nurse were asleep at desk when our loved one’s IV alarms and other monitor alarms were going off. An employee told one (1) of our family members to be sure not to leave our family at this hospital by themselves.

Map wanted me to go the interstate way but I wanted to go the old fashioned route

Well I drove 70 miles to get a covid test yes they made me drive that far due to surgery at UAB. Apparently the doctor s here in my town aren't good enough to fax the the results. I get in area drove around for 15 minutes even get out to find where testing is going on... All people could do was point .. Oh wait there was one sign but it only pointed one direction and guess what not in direction of where it was at... Please for people not in Birmingham give exact directions especially if they have to be there early in the morning

Even though ALL parking spots in front of the hospital are for handicapped ♿ ,it is always full. The best thing to do is spring for valet parking $5. Also call ahead and have a wheelchair waiting for you when you arrive.

My appointment was on time and the whole place was extremely clean and sanitary. My shoulder surgery went better than expected.
