Restoration 1 of Reno-Tahoe

I’ve used Restoration 1 of Reno-Tahoe twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. Both times they were responsive and able to step in right away. They pay attention to the details and genuinely seem to care about their clients and doing the job well. The first time was for mold remediation after another company left the work incomplete. Restoration 1 came in, finished the job correctly, and I received clearance immediately. Later, when I had a washing machine leak, they handled the water remediation just as quickly and professionally. They’ve been responsible, communicative, and consistent across both jobs. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

First off, it is amazing how much mold can really hide in your walls and only look like a small spot behind a baseboard. Once we realized that we may have a bigger problem then we thought, we started looking around for help. We brought in a couple of other “5 star mold experts” for quotes. All they wanted to do was spray our walls. They started at a low price and the more they talked the higher the price crept up. But Restoration 1 was VERY different. Immediately it was clear that Adam had significantly more knowledge and experience with these situations. He explained every step of what they planned to do and why they were going to do it. Definitely a great experience with Restoration 1 of Reno-Tahoe. Adam and team did an outstanding job, which exceeded my expectations and beyond. They repaired my ceiling due to water damage in a very short time, and Adam himself even came in on a Weekend just to finish it to accommodate me. He made sure everything looks good before leaving. What a great company! I wanted someone to examine the crawlspace under our house just to be sure there were no moisture issues because so many of our neighbors had problems with that. The office person apologized for having to schedule a week out because they were so busy, but that was no problem because this was not emergency. I was surprised when she said there would be no charge! Sure enough, Adam showed up as scheduled, did a thorough assessment, showing me photos of the entire area. He was pleasant and efficient and took time to discuss what might be a problem area in the spring when downhill runoff might soften the ground. I highly recommend Restoration 1. Friendly, honest, and professional!

6 star rating to to the entire team! Would 100% recommend to anyone in need of services for water damage or any other issue that requires a restoration company. Recently we had a blown washer hose that could have turned into a mold disaster if not for their fast action and comprehensive approach. Every interaction made us feel like we weren’t just $$ in their pocket, but that they genuinely cared that we got what we needed.
