RetroFoam of Pittsburgh

My whole experience with RetroFoam was seamless from start to finish! Anthony came to have a look and provide an estimate - was very thorough, informative, and communicated throughout the whole process! Jason, Bill, and their crews came to install blown-in insulation in the attic and then the foam through the exterior brick. They were super efficient and didn’t leave a mess! The company was even very understanding when we had to push my start date due to some family health issues. Overall very satisfied and would recommend to a friend! I’m already noticing such a difference the insulation has made in both temperature and noise reduction. Thanks so much!

Overall I would recommend using retrofoam for your insulation projects. It was a good experience with Hope getting my estimate completed. I then scheduled and they showed up on time all days. My job was a two-part job. Part 1 they explained to me what they would be doing and even encouraged me to watch if I wanted. Insulating the outer walls of my home was supposed to be a 1-day project but turned into 2 days as they were down a man. Mike and Garrett put a plan together and executed it. They showed up on day 2 in the rain to get it done. Part 2 was interior insulation in my rim joist and closed cell foam on the ceiling of my under porch storage. After many bids, we decided to go with Retro Foam of Pittsburgh. Anthony came out and gave us a bid and was honest about what he personally would and wouldn’t do and walked us through the process. That’s why we went with them. His crew came out and did an awesome job. The crew was very nice and respectful. Again, they walked me through everything. They finished the job in a couple hours and the way the cleaned up made it look like they weren’t even here. I’ll be using them again for my attic to be sprayed!

So I had my attic and perimiter walls done yeaterday. And I,m happy with the results. I have a 950 square foot house in Rural Valley. It had a fiber clapboard siding with an 11' exposure that they just dont make anymore. So I had to go with the plugs. I was concerned about how this would look. And yes, a visitor would notice. And Id love to tell that story. Efficency will trump astetics wirhin reason of course. The crew did thier housekeeping. There was alot of shavings. But it was all gone. And they put down plastic and paper runners over the floors when working the attic access. I liked the creativity of the attic sprayers to level the trailer as my street is a hill. After that meeting with him we canceled the other estimate just knowing we were in good hands with RetroFoam. We scheduled and they were out in no time. The crew that came out was very professional quick and efficient. Left with no mess or anything out of place. Can’t recommend them enough.
