Avoid. We paid significant money for pre-construction and a construction deposit and got months of excuses, poor communication, and zero accountability. Timelines slipped repeatedly with no progress. We later learned vendors and City-related items were not paid with the funds we provided. That means if we want to move forward, we have to start over, re-engage vendors, and redo parts of the process at additional cost and time. They were affordable, but the actual project was a nightmare. It took over a year for them to remodel an existing garage that was already plumbled and wired and convert into a studio casita. We went weeks without hearing from them except when we got their automated messages asking for more payments. Their only saving grace was their project manager that they ended up letting go.

Our personal experience has been a nightmare. We hired them to build out a simple 2000 sq ft business, basically just build out 4 empty rooms. Basically everything took 2-3 tries to get done correctly, and the only reason they were noticed done incorrectly was because I had to be there for every step - no supervision. It sat for at least 2 months with no activity. Promised the COO several times but constant empty promises. 4-6 month project took 11 months, resulting in months of no earning plus paying rent. We finally made some progress when someone else in the company stepped in. We still had to pay out of pocket for a plumber to come in and finish with the written promise of getting reimbursed but still have not seen the payment and several requests have been ignored.
