Which is worse? This painting company or a company that would continue business with this company. The company I work for hired them a second time and they produced the same low quality results. As long as anyone continues business with these posers then they will continue to scam. I am a professional painter with 25 years experience and I would be embarrassed to work for Rice painting. Minimal to no preparation, lack of quality and integrity, paint on numerous items that are obviously not to be painted, one coat of paint on some doors and walls when supposed to apply two, painting over walls that are damaged without patching, charging for skim coat when clearly not, crown molding is not caulked and has wall paint on lower edge throughout entire length, and the list goes on.

Definitely would not recommend. Workers did not care about leaving a mess when they "finished". They left tons of paint chips in the alley, which blew into my yard with my kids. I told them multiple times to please clean them up, and they ignored my requests. Our other neighbors also asked them, with no regard. They also got paint on windows, overspray on a garage door and fence and they just said that was normal and they made no attempt to clean or fix the issues.

We contacted Rice Painting after several shops declined to help us with a wallpapering job. We had our hearts set on a wallpaper from the UK that was unusually wide with a large pattern. This made ordering and install more difficult than normal and several shops just refused it outright. Rice was helpful in determining the correct amount (speaking directly with the supplier on our behalf) and diligent about the follow-up for the delivery and install date. We've worked with all sorts of trades, but never had someone communicate this consistently and well. Install also went smoothly, we were very pleased with the result. It's also worth mentioning that they did all of this for a powder bath install. Highly recommend, would use them again without hesitation.

After having work scheduled for approximately 1 month I was contacted by a few different individuals from Rice who explained they did not know anything about my project and that I should have done a better job of providing information. After being being berated and lectured I was told they would not do the job and dismissed. I have worked with Rice in the past and have generally had a decent experience. Now after this experience I will not ever use them again and will steer others from doing so as well.

Rice Painting provided quality workmanship on our new-build home. They were skilled, respectful, and polite.I would use them again in a second!
