Rich Merritt Painting

DON’T!! My suggestion is stay away. Merritt and their workers started out as what I though was a miracle of good people and quality work. In all fairness, their work is impeccable if you can get them to show up. What should have taken a week has taken months, they removed doors moldings, etc in my home, convinced me to spend thousands on new doors with the promise of doing the job. I bought special hinges, spent 3K on door pulls and over 5K on new doors, the doors were delivered and Merritt Painting, Mike Merritt who is now running this business disappear. Nearly 3 weeks of texts and phone calls never returned, we were ghosted, ignored. Our home is torn up, moldings off, doors leaned against walls, nearly 10k in materials sits in my living room. Rich and company did the repairs to my house post hurricane Sandy. I can't even put into words the fantastic job his crew did. My house never looked so good. High quality work and honest pleasant people to deal with. They made an unbelievably difficult time easier with their kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend this company.
