Listen here!!!! The BEST!!! A pipe broke in the laundry room and flooded the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, closet and laundry room. Richard came to the rescue immediately. He fixed it on spot, came back the next day to enforce it even better so that I was able to wash clothes and breathe a sigh of relief. HOWEVER, the water heater went out the next day and HE CAME TO THE RESCUE AGAIN!!! Work was completed in a day...well a few hours actually!!! Very reasonable with the quotes, very knowledgeable and of course great customer service. A full weekend of craziness with repairs actually turned out to be calming and at ease!!! Whatever you do be cautious when you hire him let me explain why, I looked him up as a special favor to a friend of mine in Columbia, South Carolina. we need it we need a stackable washer and dryer put in a laundry room outside of her condo in a room extremely small. We had 220 ran to it and also had new water valves installed in the wall. Do you know what he did? He said that we had to knock the door casing out take the door off the door off the hinges in order to get it in there. His bid was $2000. I said Well is there anyway you could cut it to 1500 and he gave me this baloney about how he goes and help his mother on Saturday, He threw his phone across the floor said I don’t want nothing to do with this, So I hired somebody that said they do it for $275 and material. If you want someone to walk out on a job half way through then Richard is the man for you!! We hired him to remove+replace a sliding glass door after pulling up linoleum+replacing it with tile, reinstall a garbage disposal, and fix drywall in a bathroom. We were quoted $2250 in labor alone which we were willing to pay because he seemed to know what he was talking about. It was obvious he was in over his head when my husband had to help him remove the door which absolutely should not be the case for the price we were paying. He got frustrated and decided to leave without finishing the jobs. If you are looking to learn some handyman work because the person you hired quits the job and you are left with an unsealed door then Richard is your man!!! Dishwasher started to leak water onto the floor. I called Richard told him what the problem was and he came over right away. Richard cleaned up the mess, pulled out the dishwasher and evaluated the damage. We decided that a new dishwasher would be in order. He disconnected the water supply and electrical supply. In doing so, he exercised, good safety procedures to ensure that no one would get hurt. He went to Lowe’s and bought a dishwasher and installed it under my kitchen counter. Then he hauled the old dishwasher away. He did the whole job quickly, safely and properly - and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Richliving!!

This is the second time I have used Richard Wallace.The first time was to repair my kitchen table which had collapsed in the middle. He was able to come the same day and fixed it. Most recently he cleaned my gutters and caulked two areas where they were leaking. He is very reasonably priced, professional and courteous. I highly recommend.
