The attached picture is how they speak to their customers. It was time to do a one year service repair maintenance work, I was a couple days late but according to them I was a month late. She said we were told at closing that it needed to be turned in a month before the one year mark. We were never told that and neither were other neighbors I spoke to. All the other service repair agreements (30 , 60 and 90 day ones) were all turned in on that exact day of living here. Also the air conditioner stopped working twice this past summer in the middle of July. It took over a day for them to fix it. I have an elderly mother living with me who can’t take the heat. Then less than a month after it was fixed, it broke down again. The house wasn’t even a year old and already issues with the AC unit

I bought a 2 year old Richmar Builders home in Meadow Lanes Farm in Lebanon in September and on March 22nd I noticed a small leak in the ceiling by a bedroom. I contacted Richmar and they told me that there is no warranty on the roof after one year with the exception of the shingles and any structural issues. I called a local roofer and his inspection revealed that the flashing around all of the exhaust pipes was attached using a standard nail and not roofing nails causing the leak. They caulked and renailed all the flashing and cured my problem. Shame on Richmar for not standing by their product. I had to pay out of pocket for the repairs.

If you want a home that looks beautiful but have a terrible time heating and cooling. Look no further thank Richmar/ DeSousa Brown. They’ll take your money and won’t fix your issues.
