These guys repaired a 9” tear in a painting on canvas, as if it never happened. Excellent communication and documentation of all work they performed. Highly recommend.

They do amazing work! I brought them a painting that was a hundred years old. This was a painting my grandmother had done of a mother and child. My grandmother died in childbirth with her fifth son, so her four surviving sons really didn't know her. And of course none of her grandchildren had either. This painting had been through a lot including someone trying to clean it with varnish. It was very faded but I was pretty sure it could become a treasure. And so it was a treasure after Richmond Conservation Studio did their magic, it became a family treasure. My family is very grateful.

Fabulous restoration of our painting from the 1950s. They were very helpful in explaining what they would do and how they'd do it. I was kept up to date on progress - and the painting was done early! The documentation of the repair was impeccable and the repairs themselves impossible to distinguish from the original. Not as expensive as I worried it might be ... but still worth every penny. Such a wealth of knowledge! I recently bought a painting and noticed that there were several cracks in it, I spoke to Lorraine and emailed photos of the damage. She was very quick to respond and provide me with an estimate of repair and offered her professional opinion about the causes of the damage. Highly recommend!

We just had a small painting cleaned. The work was spectacular and the ladies are amazing. It's so great to have a complete record of the entire process. The fact that everything is reversible is fantastic!
