My driveway gate motor died after many years and Rick's replaced it. It took a few days to get the installation scheduled, but they did the job in a way I originally thought was acceptable. I quickly needed to have someone come back to adjust the range of the remote control and the speed of opening and closing, and thought technician Brett had gotten it straightened out. However, he was unable to figure out how to remove a delay that is very annoying and a potential safety issue. A month later, the gate randomly stopped functioning and emitted a terrible high-pitched alarm almost every time. Rick's Gate Works sent out a technician to repair it a day later and I then received an invoice for $232 for an "emergency" call, despite being under warranty.

We've used Rick's Gate for many years to service and repair the gate at our commercial property. Great work, fast service, fair pricing.

Had this vendor out to our property to replace the speakers in our call boxes. The rep showed up in a vehicle that wasn't his and also had zero tools or gear to fix anything. Rep came back a week later and jimmie rigged wrong size and used speakers as his fix! Total joke and when I asked about the billing he stated " well for the 2 visit charge that's $150 each" when hearing that I was floored knowing that it was their issue coming unprepared the 1st time so figured no charge! When I expressed my concern the rep became extremely rude and we had words and he ended the conversation by tell me to lose their # which i immediately did. Unfortunately we received a $400 bill for horrible service, these guys are thieves and would never recommend!!

Rick's came out and replaced two gate operators, one of which had been broken by my bad decision to let another company service the gates. Rick's did the job quickly, professionally, correctly, and at a fair price, and I'm grateful for their service. I've learned my lesson! Only Rick's Gate Works will be touching my gates from now on!

Sooooooo I called Rick he owner the day afer I had my gate serviced. I was very disappointed that he didn' take my call and never called me back. I took time out from a busy day to call him to let him know his company had serviced my gate for 24 years and I usually worked with Dave. Dave is retiring and they sent Brett instead. I was skeptical when Brett called to arrange the service appointment. I was calling Rick to praise his company and let him personally know what a delite it was to have Brett service my gate. He is smart, knowledgeable, very personable and one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He has patience and gave me two options to repair my gate in order to keep costs down. He re-programed my openers, cleaned up after himself and asked if there was anything else I neede
