Horrible experience. Would give zero stars if possible. Absolutely unprofessional crew, treated our possessions and furniture with no care or respect at all. They arrived 3 hours late and never called, made up a story about getting a flat, then the whiny driver complained to us about there being no parking for them on our street in New York City! 🤣 The untrained, obviously inexperienced, lazy guys wrapped our furniture by putting their tape DIRECTLY on the wood and then putting blankets and more tape on top - followed by sliding the furniture down the flight of stairs instead of carrying it. EVERY SINGLE PIECE has chips, dents or scratches, and THREE items were broken to the point of needing replacement. Boxes very clearly labeled FRAGILE were thrown, upside down into large wardrobe boxes

Would I recommend Right Tough Movers to a friend? Yes. Miles and Jada were helpful and clear with the quote, booking, and satisfying the building requirements for move in (the building was more demanding than any I have seen). They worked with me to find a time on very tight time frame and on a very busy moving day. Getting this completed with a reasonable quote was unexpected in a good way. The moving crew was punctual and finished the job under the time estimate. I was happy. Two things that will make your move easier: -Clarify payment method before your moving day. For my move they wanted cash paid to the moving crew the day of the move. Have the cash ready to reduce stress. -If you quote a move for just boxes, have all small items in medium to large boxes that can roll on doll

Called to make the appointment with Tommy and specifically told them i needed 2 large toys taken, and was told it would be no problem.( later was told "Tommy is gonna yes you to death" when i told the guys Tommy said is wouldn't be a problem) When the guys arrived they knew nothing about it but said they would see if they could do it. When we got down to the toys, I was told I would need to disassemble them myself paying 150.00 an hour to do so, so I opted to leave them. I called the office to let them know what had happened and they seemed very apologetic and said to take pictures of the items and they could possibly send a truck to pick them up for us on a later date. When they called I was told they could take the items for another 400.00 dollars!! I already paid 965.00 to move my 2 bed

Zero stars!!!!!!!!! Is this even a real moving company? In short the movers were extremely unprofessional in handling my belongings which resulted in them damaging several pieces of furniture, (not to mention that they left my lamps on the truck and refused to drop them off to my home.) The foreman went as far as to yell at me saying that I have too much stuff and his language throughout the moving journey was pitiful. Slow in pace and low-skilled individuals. The staff refused to wear masks in my new building and was disrespectful to maintenance workers, the management office therefore banned the whole company from the premises. All in all I am still traumatized from this experience.

Movers arrived on-time and wrapped things up at our departing apartment relatively quickly, one additional man was sent for the move which was unexpected. The move took longer than we initially thought, but everything was done relatively quickly and painlessly. Furniture was re-assembled in the new apartment. The service was cash-only, which I did not realize but that's on me! Overall, the initial quote was lower than the final charge, but the moving team was efficient and everything was handled that needed to be. COI was provided to both apartments, and one COI was even expedited at the last minute (FYI this is an incremental cost).
