Our "built in" microwave suddenly stopped working and tripped the circuit breaker. It's 10 years old but is really nice and would be expensive to replace. We had never had something like this break that I couldn't fix so, based on recommendations of neighbors I called Rinfret's. I reached Matt (the owner). He was able to send a repair person out the next morning. Jay showed up the next morning right on time. It was impressive to me (being a tech guy) how quickly Jay was able to determine what was broken. The two parts had to be ordered but when they came in Matt happened to be able to schedule Jay to come back again the next day. We have a very old washer and dryer and were afraid that our dryer had given up the ghost. But David saved the day! I called Rinfret's and the very next day we had an appt. David arrived promptly, knew just what the problem was, and fixed it quickly. He was very pleasant and extremely competent! I am back in business and so happy to have a working dryer! In my repeated experience, everything is right with Rinfret's Appliance Service: Responsive in their communication not to mention courteous and helpful. I got a timely appointment, an accurate diagnosis, and an acceptable repair estimate that was actually higher than I had to pay. Did you hear that? I received a pricey estimate but went ahead with the repair because it was cheaper than replacing the whole machine. When the work was finished, my bill was half of what I expected. That is an honest business! Oh, and in this throwaway, consumer culture it's a great relief to have a local repair shop that believes in keeping things running as long as possible.
