RiteRug Flooring Property Management & Home Builder Divisions - Richmond

I had a horrible experience with RiteRug. They don’t answer any phone calls and when I went to the location, the doors were open and no one was there. We finally were able to order and they cancelled/refunded our order with no explanation. I don’t recommend working with them!

I had to share my experience because I feel customer reviews are important and I cherish excellent customer service. I am building a Ryan Home in Chesapeake, VA. The sales person (Beth) at Ryan Homes has been excellent and I would highly recommend them. All of the contractors have been amazing so far accept for the Rite Rug in Chesapeake. I had to do a 14 day meeting to pick out flooring with them. You have to sign up on their website and they wont accept phone calls for appointments. We live 1.5 hours away and their only appointments were on Tue and Thur during the day. I told them I did not want to spend $15,000 on flooring and pick that flooring via facetime. RiteRug Re-installed laminate flooring today (10/08). They initially installed the floor in November 2020 as a part of new construction purchase. The floor was unlevel and it had multiple high/low spots. The reinstall is as bad as the first install. They did not fully remove the quarter-round and attempted to shove flooring under existing edging. Quarter round is cut by hand and is not precise, appearing as though I cut the molding and put it back. They also initially stated they don't move furniture, but moved furniture and refused to put it back. There are two spots that still are not level and I anticipate the floor will fail again. A report from the manufacturer indicated the floor had not been installed properly resulting in failure of the floor. The workers were rude and disre
