River Ave. Parking Garage

We bought 2 parking passes on Seat Geek last week for the Pinstripe Bowl. We were coming from PA and not familiar with the area. I picked your garage because it was close to the stadium. When we arrived, the NYPD said the garage was closed and wouldn’t let us enter. It’s fraud to sell passes to a garage that is not open! Shame on you and shame on Seat Geek for allowing this! Buyer beware!!

Bought a parking pass via stubhub and it’s a scam. I physically couldn’t park in the parking garage because they close the road for the events. There’s a lot of chatter online about this same garage and Stubhub selling tickets that can’t be used.

I don’t understand the negative reviews, which initially freaked me out. This garage is very convenient as it is across the street from Yankee Stadium. We purchased a parking pass online via city park and had no issues. Yes, the roads will be blocked off so you’ll have to plan to arrive early. We were given direction to circle around quite a few blocked off roads by police officers. It really wasn’t that big of a deal. When entering the garage, we were told it costs extra to park on the ground level. We chose to just park on the second level and had no issues. Would recommend this garage and would park here again for a game.

Workers hold spots for those willing to pay them $10 cash on top of $49 fee... Basically extortion. Don't want to pay the bribe??... then you can go up and park on roof

NEVER BOOK ONLINE AND DON’T GIVE THEM FREE MONEY! The facility was closed as the roads around it were completely blocked. They nonetheless sold “event ticket” online for this location. I arrived more than one hour earlier, stuck in the traffic for more than one and half, ended up being in a parking lot several blocks away and missed the first half of the match.
