River City Custom Cabinetry

I usually don't write reviews but I felt I should say something about this company. We recently remodeled a home as we are downsizing from our larger home. Damon and his crew at River City were spectacular working with our designer and my wife to create absolutely gorgeous cabinets for our kitchen and for our bathrooms and for our great room. When small details were not right, they made them immediately right without question. Their installers were incredibly professional and responded to our needs immediately. We also used River City for a previous cabinet installation in our current home 25 years ago and the cabinets are still beautiful and functional to this day. I try to support local businesses . Another local business recommended River City to me but i cannot recommend them. It took 3 mths to get an appt which was fine but after the guy came out he told me it would take two weeks for a quote and plan which was fine too. . It has been six mths now and I have called several times and told he can see if he can work on it this week from the front office staff. I never received a quote. Huge waste of time. This Local business needs to do a better job if they expect to keep community support

While living in St. Augustine Fl., I purchased a lake house in Salem, SC which needed new cabinetry in the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Not knowing anyone in the local South Carolina area, River City Custom Cabinetry was recommended to me by several former clients in the Jacksonville, FL area. I took pictures of both the kitchen and bathrooms and emailed them along with measurements taken by my contractor to River City Custom Cabinetry. Within two weeks, I met with the owner, Damon, and the Office Manager, Danielle, to review and approve their plans, choose the cabinetry design, type of wood, selection of hardware, and finishing. River City cabinetry did a wonderful job on the cabinets in my entire house. We worked one on one with the owner, as he helped configure and design the kitchen, laundry room, mudroom, pantry, and every bathroom. The installers were polite and worked very fast. I have received dozens of compliments on the quality and appearance of the cabinetry. I highly recommend this company.

We built our first home with a builder about 3.5 years ago now....the process was stressful to say the least. Of the 30+ subs we worked with on the project I can only count on one hand the ones that under promised and over delivered.
