River East Public Self Parking Garage

Went to the Cubs Convention and my car was broke into 2 hours after parking. Went back to get something and caught the 2 security guards. They tried to walk away as if they were patrolling. Impossible to get ahold of the police. Be careful the guards are doing it. They break the windows with their work flashlight. We had to wait until we got home to deal with it because no one helps at the time. It's the employees working there! As they took us around in circles to make a fake incident report they went back and got their flashlight.

Forcing people to register their license plates on an app to use a parking garage is the stupidest shit in the world. Especially when the app doesn’t work.

Decided to park here when seeing a movie at the AMC. The signs stated we could have our ticket validated at the AMC customer service counter, which we did and was supposed to be good for when we left the parking garage. When leaving, the scanning machine did not recognize the validation and held us hostage until we paid $42 for parking. I called customer service and informed them I was only there three and a half hours, which they verified with our ticket number, but would not refund the money and offered a credit for our next trip. We do not live in Chicago and after what we have seen and encountered there, would never return! I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!

This garage seems to be getting really unsafe; no cameras; no responsibility for car theft; safety measures not in place; no patrols; it is a public garage but needs to be more safe and another option for monthly parkers that is private, especially for the amount of $$ paid; also not really that clean

Went to AMC 21. I prefer a bigger screen for a film, but it was ok. Wish we had an IMAX again.
