River St. Garage

I'd zero star if I could. I parked here for a night out and all was well until I went to try paying and leaving. Payment machine in the lobby was broken. Tried paying at the gate, it wouldn't accept my card (no option to pay cash). Talked to an attendant, and had to sit on the phone for 20 minutes with another individual who took down my information to get out. Finally got home, and went to pay online, and they wanted to charge me almost $16 when the on-site machines said $5 but wouldn't accept payment. Still awaiting a response from their support. Absolutely ridiculous to charge over triple the price because YOUR equipment is broken.

It's a very cleanly garage. It is well lit and doesn't feel dangerous to go to your car at night. It's also very affordable for students as they get a student discount. It's also along a bunch of shops and places to eat.

Do not park here! My mom's car was broken into overnight while parked in this garage. We arrived in the morning and found all the windows smashed, with glass everywhere. At least three other cars were broken into as well and their windows smashed too. We were told they do not have cameras in the garage except for near the exit, so there was no surveillance where the cars were parked. It appears that no staff was in the garage all night because we were told that they found the car "like this" in the morning when they came in. Extremely traumatic experience. We then had trouble getting out of the garage because all the attendants were gone and we needed to get it out to put the car on the tow truck. Considering that the garage charges $30 overnight, we expected there to be some kind of secur

This company is terrible. They don't even generally keep onsite staff despite their outrageous fees. They have a bug riddled automated system that tries to screw you over at every turn. Exits are frequenty closed and this causes back ups in exiting.

Park here if you want to get ripped off!!! I’d rather circle the block 50-times, searching for street parking, than give this shady company my money again!
