I've had Dancause for Furnace maintenance & repair for several years. But it had been some time since I had called for service. The older Dancause(s) had retired & when I called, a young man came. He was there on Sunday & came back on Monday. Also, he never told me his name, & didn't let me ask questions (said he couldn't talk & work at the same time). I always had a good relationship with the Dancauses. I've always asked questions (I live alone & if I can do something myself, I'd rather). So I thought I'd ask my questions when he was done. But he walked out the door (I tho't he was just taking his tools to his truck). But he left. He never left any paperwork. I never got a receipt for the $600 that I paid for a new motor. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Dave was incredible. Next day service call to fix my furnace. I moved to Arizona and we're in the process of selling the house, and the furnace quit working. Dave took a look and found a leaf stuck in the intake vent. Once removed the furnace was up and running! Very happy with the quick service and the help!

Our tenant called Robert Dancause and Sons company explained what was wrong and an appointment was made to check air conditioning as it was not cooling the townhouse. The air conditioner was extremely dirty, pictures were provided by the workman. Out tenant was charged $85.20 for a service call, not on a weekend or holiday, which was not applied to the work, $405. 02 for CLEANING the unit, plus $50.00 for 1/2 lb of coolant, and $34.12 for tax. The labor balance was $80 per hour per man! After our tenant questioned why he was charged for two men the technician removed $80.00 from the bill. I called and they were here in about 20 minutes they fixed the problem and it's very cozy now. We have been a customer of Dancause & Sons. We were treated with respect and he explained everything to us I would recommend them to anyone who needs a furnace problems.

I was referred to this contractor after another contractor told me my 4 year old a/c system had several issues but primarily was lacking refrigerant and needed replacement. I called Steve Dancause who was very nice on the phone and said he would look at my system later in the day. He was there in a couple hours, reinstalled some parts removed by the last guy and found that my problem was only the thermostat. Based on my experience today, I will be using Robert Dancause & Sons for all my future HVAC needs.
