I had built a new house and the AC -central - was installed with no returns. I called to have them look at it to give me an estimate. Fairly simple job, drop ceilings in basement and easy access to the floor above. They came out quick enough and spent enough time and told me they would call me with an estimate. I never got that phone call. 👎

In November 2016 I asked Dent's to repair the heating and air-conditioning system that Dent had installed and upgraded for us 20 years later. The problem was that we had no control of the temperature in the two downstair zones. 10 months, 4 visits, and about $1800 in bills later, they finally found the problem: a clogged 10' copper fuel line. I could have replaced that line with PVC for about $10 dollars, yet Dent specifically itemized $500 for replacement of that line! When I asked in writing for a more detailed itemization of that item, the response was another invoice for the same amount + a late payment fee. Not even worth a star. We called them and took them about a month to finally get out to us. Which I mean I can’t get to mad because I understand things happen and they can get backed up especially in the summer season for an hvac company. But we said our unit was frozen they said it was a filter and just needed clean but after about a day our unit was frozen back up so basically wasted over a $100 for a filter and cleaning to fix our unit to just go back to square one.
