Rockefeller Center Parking

The garage was easy to get to in the early morning hours. You pay a higher price, but the convenience of being so close to everything is worth it. The employees were very nice and quick. It was hard to understand a couple of them, so the conversation was kept short. We would park here again, just be smart with your vehichles, as break-ins can happen. So when we visit the city, we don't leave any valuables in our car, and we always tip the valets as a thank you for them saving us the walking through a sketchy parking garage, lol!

The parking was very easy and fast from my experience, a valet was instantly there once I pulled in there was NO LINE to wait also fast and accurate when they returned my vehicle... HOWEVER, I paid over 100$ dollars for the spot, on an app called spothero, they scanned my QR code and I left...Well when I returned to get the car (yes it was fast and really good service) BUT, they attempted to charge me again over 100$ when they handed me a receipt and quote on quote said that's what's due you can pay that there and pointed toward the counter ... CLEAR GARAGE MONEY GRAB so just stand your ground and be cautious!! Other than that it was a garage if I HAD to park somewhere down that area, I would use again!!

Parking at Rockefeller Center is convenient but pricey. Spaces can be tight, and it gets crowded during peak hours. Reserve ahead if possible to avoid delays or full lots.

Employees with attitudes. It’s like they work at a third world country or something. Just look at the lowest rating reviews before you park here because they are spot on. They are very incompetent also. See below for those employees (pictures). These two specific employees are apparently known to get customer complaints because their colleagues even told me that customers complain about them all the time. Do better management. At one point “Lenwood” had to scan my QR code TEN times and still could not get it right. My hotel ended up having to refund me the money because they had a contract going on. Also, this other guy (shown in the picture) needs to have a name tag on (no wonder he doesn’t) he probably wants to avoid getting his name out to his management.

I’m hoping this review helps others who are reading the reviews from the holidays and feeling wary. We parked at this location on 3/29. It was a great experience. We pulled right in and the attending was friendly and immediately checked us in and we were on our way. When we returned at the end of the day, there were 2 families in front of us waiting for their cars. I literally sat down on the bench with my toddler and about 1 minute later our car was ready. Everyone was very fast and courteous. No one was trying to scam people/pushing for tips. The man who returned my car was not expecting a tip at all (but I gladly gave one). The parking lot is secure. The only con is it can be tricky to pull out from there in rush hour but…it’s New York
