Ruff and Ready Moving

R&R was Great to deal with. Paul came out and gave me an estimate and they actually charged me less than the estimate, which you never hear of in any industry. The moving crew were awesome, They were on time got the job done quickly and made sure all of our stuff was taken care of. would definitly recommend to anyone looking to move.

The best movers I've ever had, by far. This is a locally owned and operated professional company that employs kind and effective people. My experience was top level from the beginning with a thorough estimate and detailed plan. The crew was fantastic and they day they moved us out and the day they moved us in. They were on time, worked efficiently and were very kind and polite. The guys literally rolled out a red carpet to protect the floors. They took great care in packing our items and did so efficiently and quickly. I can't recommend them enough. They handled a lot for us, including storage, and did so at very competitive rates. If you're hiring movers, you need to consider Ruff and Ready.

The guys really did a great job packing everything for protection for the long distance move (CA to TN). And was evident as I unpacked things. On arrival only two items were damaged for which the driver paid us for at a reasonable price on the spot. Plus he compensated us an item we later discovered was missed. When they delivered the out everything in the rooms where they belonged plus they did set up of beds and furniture and assembly of items they disassembled for the move. They were recommended to me by a friend who used them to move to TN as well and I would just as easily recommend them as well.

We have used R&R multiple times over the years, including this past week. They are not a national mover and I made my reservation and got an estimate with Paul, the owner. The guys that came out were friendly and I knew them from past moves. They moved a refrigerator and a very heavy armoire from our upstairs home along with all other furniture and boxes and got my parents settled into a beautiful assisted living facility. They knew that facility well and were so helpful and accommodating to all of us as they got them settled in. Thank you!

Based on my experience, I would not choose this company again. There were unexpected changes to payment amounts on moving day, storage charges that did not reflect the final inventory, scheduling issues, and damage to multiple items. The repair process took over two months to resolve and required consistent follow-up. Overall, the process was far more stressful than it should have been. I recommend proceeding with caution and ensuring every detail is clearly documented before hiring.
