I’ve been using Runyon’s for years and they are top notch. I was super impressed with my most recent purchase from them. Their sales staff went way above and beyond to find me the perfect flooring for my house. In addition the installer was overly meticulous and very easy to work with. The experience was flawless, I highly recommended using them.

On a recommendation, we just purchased some carpet as part of a pad, carpet, and free installation deal. This was our first time using Runyon's and the service was exceptional. The sales rep, Dan, was very helpful and made all kinds of effort to make sure we were getting the best deal. They were very accommodating as well (we couldn't do the installation right away when the carpet came in so they stored it for a couple weeks until we were ready). When it came time for the install, Tim was quick and did an excellent job. Our brand new carpet looks looks like it was installed by a professional, because it was. Anyways, I would recommend Runyon's to anyone looking for quality service and effortless communication. Thank you so much!

We purchased a vinyl plank floor. It was to be installed over a vinyl floor in the kitchen, remove existing carpet and put the plank floor in the living room, and then in the foyer over the existing vinyl floor. When the salesman came out to measure, my husband told him MULTIPLE times we do not want any raised areas at all. He said they would mud the area from the kitchen to the living room and it would be fine. We bought the same floor just a different way of laying it in the foyer and we would need a transition molding (which we didn’t understand how it would work) and he said no problem, no raised area. It was very important that there were no raised areas because we have a special-needs adult daughter who cannot have change and we did not have any bumps in our existing floor going fr

BUYER BEWARE RUNYON’S FLOORING AND FURNITURE in MONROE, MI. I am proud to say that I grew up in Monroe County. I always urge people to work with small businesses especially when they are local. I have contemplated posting this for a long time, but if sharing helps prevent even 1 person from going through what I did then this post is worth it. It was a truly traumatizing and emotionally draining experience that we went through with Runyon’s. This is what you should keep in mind if you choose to do business with them. 1. They were not approved vendors/installers of the product that they had on display. (Runyon’s purchased it from another store when we specifically asked if they were approved). 2. They did not follow the manufacture’s specifications or complete proper job site preparation.

The team was helpful and made the whole process smooth, from choosing the carpet to installation. The work was done professionally and with attention to detail. Overall, a positive experience that I’d recommend to anyone looking for new flooring.
