Beware ! Since Rymes was purchased by Superior they have become a large company just concerned with making money and not customer service. I have a simple issue that can't be taken care of online. I called last week and waited on hold for 1 hour and gave up. I called back today and I am on hold again and still waiting, it's currently 1 hour and 25 minutes. I guess it's time to start shopping around. The price I'm paying for propane I expect customer service or at least someone to answer my call in a reasonable timeframe.

Communication is awful. 4 days to return a call or email. Once site visit was completed and told to dig trench, which I did, to find out it will be 5 weeks before the install. Techs showed up to install lines, to let my wife know the trench filled in and needs to be dug out. She offered to do it as it was all sand, easy to do,because they wouldnt do it. Told my wife they dont have time and will need to reschedule. Then to have "New Tanks" were to be installed for $2400. Luckily before they were connected I was able to look at the tanks to find out they dropped of 10year old tanks. I called and asked them to pick up the tanks and refund my deposit. Never have I experienced such awful service. They will go out of business real soon with the lack of communication for sure. They didnt even atte

BEWARE!! Since being purchased by Superior Propane, Rymes has become a shell of what it used to be. Not only have their prices become noncompetitive, their service and credibility has worsened. Do your research. Their everyday pricing is above others, and their promotions for elderly and military are minimal. They do not participate in the discounted "bulk share" oil and propane clubs that exist out there, so you are likely paying up to a dollar or more per gallon than you need to. I've had delivery issues with them, and have requested call backs from a manager multiple times and been ignored. The latest was they waited till June to fill my tanks at the highest possible rates. June???!!! I cancelled service and they charge $169.00 to come and pick up their tanks! They say all companies do

These people had been soaking me for years, hazard recovery fees, high fixed-price cost without offering a pre-buy, etc.. Back when it was Rymes, before it was acquired by Superior,I used to have a pre-buy at a good cost savings. For the last few years, however, they told me that they don't have pre-buy, and I could only get fixed-price (about $1 more per gallon). I finally bought my own tank and use a local company, and happily bade farewell to these fools, and now save $1,500 a year. I feel so free. Funny, when I called to drop them, they told me that they DO offer pre-buy discount lock-ins after all. When I called them every year after their Superior acquisition, they said they don't do it anymore. Go elsewhere, unless you enjoy being screwed.

Just horrible - Rymes just does not get it. I had set an appointment for Monday, October 14th weeks prior to match a day I could take a day off from work to meet them. The Friday prior, I called to confirm. I also called the morning of the 14th to confirm arrival as I was driving a very long way to meet with the tech. The day of October 14th Rymes was a no show, no call and when I called, (waited on hold for 20 minutes) they could not give me an answer. They then called me back about 3:45 to tell me that they would not be there but could be there the next day. I had to leave that night but during my wait, I discovered a significant problem with the heating system where a zone was heating non-stop resulting in a zone at 90 degrees. I had to leave that night and asked the tech to call me p
