S & K Remodeling

Terrible experience with S&k. I purchased new door through Lowes. They contract these jobs to S&K unfortunately. Extremely unprofessional, not accountable, questionable workmanship and integrity. This not only includes the receptionist and installer, but also the owner. Just to name a few of the many issue.... threshold of the door had a arch in it verses the normal slope outwards. Installer said this is intentional. Installed old used trim work even though part of the job called for new trim. Installed door knocker crooked. Covered up hole in drywall with calking to hid damage. Used Impact driver on smart keypads when only manual screwdrivers should be used. I bought storm door from Lowes and they contract their installation work with s and k. They scheduled me a month later after purchase date. On the day of installation they called and re-scheduled (due to 2 inch snow that only sticked around for few hours) However, Teddy and his guy did a good job with installing.

In March, we contracted with S&K to remodel our kitchen and lay down a new floor on our first floor. The delivery of kitchen cabinets were the primary driver to begin the process which were delivered in early April. The contract required the remodel to be completed between four and five weeks. On 22 April, the contractor began demolition which continued sparely throughout the week. On that Friday (25 April) we believed that the project would continue to move forward throughout the next week (the week of the 28th). Since no one showed up Monday morning, we contacted S&K and were told that nobody would be onsite Monday and Tuesday with no explanation. This practice continued off and on throughout the project which culminated in over 2 weeks of days when nothing was accomplished. This r

After a history of dealing with unreliable contractors, I struck gold with S&K Licensed Contractors. They were very thorough, professional & DWTSTWD (Did what they said they would do). They earned high marks in all facets of our exterior siding/porch/portico project. Steve is a knowledgeable & talented contractor and Amanda keep us updated every step of the project. From getting the building permit, a detailed quote, to attaching the final piece of siding, S&K was truly AWESOME! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
