Sacramento County Parking Garage

This garage is conveniently located near the Sacramento County Courthouse and the main jail. It is better than doing laps around the block looking for an open meter spot. However, if you pull in and get a ticket you have 6 min to get out free of charge otherwise they charge and it's not exactly cheap. They accept cash but it's a real pain to Pau that way. The parking spaces are super narrow and the aisles are hard to get around.

Way too expensive for needing it only a few minutes. It charged me for an entire day. Plus the little was really small and cramped for my big truck.

Easy parking in thin spots but always available for courthouse access

Decent and relatively safe place to park your vehicle when doing business at the County buildings or other businesses nearby. They charge $1.75 per half hour with a maximum daily rate of $17.50. If you're here to conduct business with the County, some departments will validate one hour (though you will need to ask to be sure). Overall clean and well-maintained albeit old and outdated. Beware that some homeless people do tend to hang around this area.

Excellent parking garage with FREE EV charging stations. Employee was super helpful in finding a charge station that would accept my phone app (Chargepoint). 7 level 2 charge stations (J-1772) were on the top roof level. 2 others were on bottom level w/ handicap spaces. Free electricity was a bonus for my plug in hybrid. Loved the 4 hour time slot for EV charging.
