I would give Matt 10 stars if I could. We first thought buying the flooring at a big box store would be more cost effective knowing we would sacrifice quality for a lower price. We shopped and shopped and were unable to find anything we liked. Out of frustration I did "flooring companies near me" search and San Diego's Finest Flooring here in Carlsbad was on the first page of the results. Turns out they were minutes away. My First impression of Matt was very positive. He knows his stuff and we were shocked at how competitive his pricing was compared to the box stores yet his flooring was a higher quality product. Matt the owner, operates his company like a company should be run. I met with Matt at his showroom & he was courteous, friendly & very knowledgeable about his merchandise. Matt didn’t try to sell me a more expensive product, he listened & gave me recommendations & presented me with options that suited my needs. Matt then brought large samples to my home. After choosing, the process went very smoothly & efficiently. From the day I chose our flooring, to installation, to completion was one week. His workmen were on time, worked hard, & cleaned up. We decided to install new baseboards throughout our home and used Google to locate a company in Carlsbad. Fortunately, San Diego's Finest Flooring popped up and we called. The owner, Matt Savage came out the next day, clearly explained our options and provided samples to choose from. He instantly instilled trust and confidence in us ... so we decided we didn't need a comparative bid. We are so thankful we went with Matt and his team of professionals. Everything was completed on time and on budget (a very reasonable price to boot). His professional installer, Carlos, was the best of the best. Extremely attentive to detail and dedicated to high standards of personal perfection in his craftsmanship. Carlos went above and beyond any professional we've ever contracted over 26 years in our home.

Matt and his team did a wonderful job carpeting our home and helping to remove carpet from our garage and for a very reasonable price. Matt was attentive through the process of selecting carpet for our second level and provided options for inside our closets as well. He did a great job listening through what we wanted and talked through his expert perspective as we walked through the home together. He and his team delivered on every request, were very friendly, efficient, and communicative. I’d recommend SD’s Finest to anyone!

Just had our floors done by San Diego’s Finest Flooring. They look amazing. Matt came over, brought samples, and we had a gorgeous sand colored luxury vinyl flooring picked out in a half hour. The install team did an amazing job and painted all the quarter round they installed, and cleaned all the floors!!. Impressive. We’d recommend SDFF to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional flooring partner for a great price.
