Finished a job back in July of 2024, and now I am writing this in January 2025, and I still have not been paid for the work completed! Compared to others I do at least receive responses through email, but it’s always an excuse of “banking issues” that they cannot process the payment currently, and this has been the excuse for going on 8 months. The client we worked for has expressed they have already paid Sanford. so my question is if there’s “banking issues” how can they get paid but they can’t pay us? Hopefully soon I can update this review with a good response, but currently I’m very disappointed with the service we have been given. I hope everyone else’s issues get resolved soon as well as mine! As many others, we performed a service and have not been paid. We have been told over and over that there was a banking issue and we should be paid asap, that was in October. As of today we haven’t received a reply to email or returned voicemail. It’s very concerning the government is using this entity. We confirmed that the ranger cabin we performed services for paid Stanford Federal. Any others that have been impacted by the egregious actions please file a complaint with SBA and inspector general. The more people that bring attention to this terrible company the better off we all are in attempting to get our money!

I would have put 0 stars if I could but had no option to only give a 1 even though they don't deserve that. Do not work for this company unless it doesn't matter if or when you get paid. I went above and beyond for them to get a job completed, approved and signed off on a government project. The client paid them within two weeks. Our contract terms state 30 Days and now has been well over 100 days. You will just get the run around from them. Seriously you need to be paid in advance if you work for them. I'm not just talking about a little bit of money either. Attorneys involved. I will never work for them again unless they pay in advance.

Asked for a bid on a project. Told us we were awarded the project which was supposed to start the following week. That's the last I heard from them. They didn't answer the phone, return phone messages, or emails. My guess is they use other companies proposals and estimating numbers with no intention of hiring them to do the work. They got me for 3-4 hours of my time, things could have been worse. Don't waste your time if they contact you asking for a bid on a project, just from my experience.

Unfortunately, I have to give this company at least one star in order to make a review. Do not do any government dealings with this business. We have had a past due invoice with them for four months. Glad we took a deposit for half the amount. They are still $11,000 past due and no one answers the phone, returns emails or calls you back.
