Scott Macczak Roofing - Mohnton Home Improvements

We are very grateful for Scott Macczak Roofing. My FIL needed a new roof this past summer & still lives in an area where let's say "other companies" were not motivated to do the work. Instead of them telling us no or why directly, they would either never call back or come out do estimate, then price job apparently very high. We would accept price, us not caring would accept the bid and then would not get any further response. Macczak's was very open & transparent with us, took the time to explain the why and still came out to look at the job. They gave us an honest & fair quote and did the job within a timely manner. My FIL was happy with the crew and how the job was executed from start/finish day of project. They took a stressful situation & got us taken care of, with not only a quality

After Getting many estimates and promises about my mother's roof. I called Scott Macczak roofing, What I received was an honest and very fair estimate. Don't be fooled he has 42 years experience and you that's what you get. The roof was done perfectly the price was spot on no add on's. Accept for the gutter guards which I added. The clean up afterwards was perfect magnets were used and the clean up was perfect. He has one 20 year roofer which is young and an expert at his trade in a crew of five.. You will not be disappointed I was not and I am very hard to please.

I was not impressed by there work. After the roof was completed I went on the roof to check it out. Let's just say the work didn't look very professional (mainly the flashing) I have seen much better work but I guess you get what you pay for. And please watch the quote they give you. You really don't know what you are paying for. What I mean everything should be itemized and it's not. All I'm saying be careful of this place. I recommend Mast roofing or Bachman roofing. They are a little more expensive but again you only get what you pay for. I will be posting pictures as soon as it stops raining 🌧. Scott straightened my gutters and installed gutter guards. I had asked the company that had put up my gutters for a quote on leaf guards and with a straight face they informed us that our gutters were sagging and had standing water because the gutters were not sloped towards the downspouts, then gave us a several thousand-dollar repair and guard installation quote. Mohnton Home Improvement performed the repairs and guard installation for a reasonable price and in a timely manner. So far, they have performed great. Thanks Scott
