Sealoc

Been using Sealoc TV in Ohio under a partial roof deck. It gets hit with rain, snow, and below zero degree weather. Been 3 years and still works like new, I have never taken it inside or covered it.

Over two years ago I purchased a Sealoc TV, mount cover, and sound bar for outdoor patio use. It's mounted in almost direct sunlight for most of the late morning thru mid-afternoon and going on three years now all of it works as good as it did on day one. I'm not proud of stating this and yet it needs to be told that I never use the cover for the TV or sound bar until I shut the patio down for winter, which is usually around December every year. Purchased 1st Selaoc TV in May 2020 - paid added $$ to have it treated for coastal environment since we are a couple miles from the Ocean. Installed following all of Sealocs guidlelines - the TV is outdoors, mounted on a wall, under roof, not exposed to any water or direct sunnlight. The TV failed in September 2021 and was shipped back to Sealoc. They said the TV could not be repaired and replaced it with a new one. The new TV failed in January 2023. They are refusing replacement becuase we are past 24 months of the purchase date of the original unit. 2 TVs failing in this short period of time seems too coincidental. I would not deal with this company again.

I ordered a 55" Sealoc Coastal Samsung Q70 QLED Series TV for $5700 (along with a sound bar and salt water treatment) in April 2020. In November 2020, I noticed a large vertical streak on the TV (see image attached) when cleaning the screen. I followed Sealoc's cleaning instructions and used a microfiber cloth and water, but the streak did not come off. When I contacted Sealoc for support on this issue, they asked me if I used a pest control service in my backyard. When I replied yes, they let me know that this was definitely the cause, and the pest control service did this. This is despite me communicating that I keep the TV COVERED when it's not in use, the TV is mounted at least 5 feet off the ground, and the pest control service does not spray anywhere near the TV.
