Tech was very knowledgeable, professional and repair my dishwasher using the new parts needed. No issues with tech, only with how the company handles miss appointments. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again for future service calls.

James, my service technician, was very professional with his diagnosis and repair of my furnace. I received a courtesy automated update on his planned arrival time. James also phoned me to give me a more precise arrival time. Once at my home, James was very competent in diagnosing the problem along with verification of the other system components. The replacement motor was ordered and picked up the following day since it was now late afternoon. The next day James called me with an ETA with the part in hand. The installation was completed in a timely manner. Thank you, James and Sears, for getting my furnace running again to keep my family comfortable. Unfortunately, there is no option for ZERO stars. The guy who came to fix my dryer actually made it worse. I called to have the dryer looked at as it was making small marks on the laundry each dry cycle. The guy turned up, eventually diagnosed what he thought was the problem and said the part was $520 but the service call fee ($119) is waived when a repair is done. I agreed, prepaid the $520 and he ordered the part and left. I texted him to ask if the dryer was useable in the meantime and he said yes. When I first checked it, he had left the vent unconnected, which I did loosely and then tried to run the machine - it now did not work at all. I texted him again to tell him and ask him to come back - HE NEVER RESPONDED OR CAME BACK. A week later, he did turn up to do the repair and apologize

Our repair person was very knowledgeable and very thorough when he was inspecting the dryer. He gave recommendations and also let us know what the problem was. I would definitely use Sears repair again

I’m 62 years old and this has been the worst “service call”experience ever. In fact , it’s the very first one I’ve ever had . Just look at my reviews on Google, first non perfect one I’ve ever had….This all after they collected years of monthly fees and then finally occurred my first claim . 4 times no shows without calling , only offer Tuesday and Thursday appts with 12 hour windows . At least last time , they cancelled a day later . They never even come out to check your problem …. They just guess at it and mail you the parts . They also don’t tell you how many you’re supposed to receive either , cause they don’t know! Just horrific , and it’s all AI not understanding what you want as always .
