Sears Appliance Repair

First appointment was canceled later than time slot given. Lost a day. Second appointment was also later than window. Third appointment was also later, but Tech called my cell to keep me updated. We could never talk to a live person about scheduling or any follow up! I did speak to a woman who gave me a number to call... but it put me back in Voice mail heck. My Dad worked for Sears for 20 yrs, so i try to be loyal to the brand. I expected way more than A I controlling the need for human interaction. Over $550 for a small fan replacement was a bit high for the service rendered. Plus the 2 days lost to waiting after the given time slot arrival was very unprofessional. I did NOT take this out on the Tech, not his fault. But his bosses ought to take this post to heart and make changes to the

Shyheim was my technician. He was respectful, diligent, and highly competent. Unfortunately, my repair required three visits and Sears process of analyzing the problem, ordering replacement parts, and rescheduling services is very efficient and required minimal actions on my part. Shyheim was in and out of my house in less than a half hour on each visit, including one visit on a Saturday. Sears' SMS communication allows customers to select convenient appointment times. He highly encouraged me to call if any other issues popped up or if I had any questions.

Mike was great! He called before arriving, and he completed the diagnose of a couple problems we had. He took time looking over the fridge and did a great job trying to find if there was more than one issue we needed resolved. He ordered the part and scheduled another visit to repair the ice maker. He arrived and had the fridge fixed quickly!

Great professional experience. The technician Barry explained what he saw and what he was doing. He gave us useful advice on general maintenance and customer upkeep. He spent a good deal of time diagnosing and checking while getting the icemaker working again. A model/example for others to follow. He is professional top grade.

Our technician DID NOT come to our house during our scheduled appointment time. We had waited two weeks for a rep to come here. We called on 10/31/2025 and scheduled for today. So what happened? Well, we can’t get in touch with anyone at Sears- they have AI which is suppose to help. But, Samantha, the AI assistant couldn’t find my cell number or my order number. (?). We called Choice Home Warranty to say the tech did not come. Upon further conversation, The Warranty company said the scheduled tech cancelled us saying he does not work on oil furnaces. We DO NOT have an oil furnace and The Warranty company confirmed that they had the right information on their notes. They confirmed we have gas. For Sh**** and Giggles- Let’s say we do have oil…. Couldn’t Sears or the technician call
