Sears Appliance Repair

Kevin arrived at our home and within the hour solved the problem that we had lived with for over 8 months that another company had failed to do. He was personable and his friendly manner made the service an enjoyable visit! Thank you for the prompt and efficient attention.

I was grateful to find out that Sears was still in business and could send someone to fix my washing machine in 3 days when others either didn't return my call or couldn't get to me for 3 weeks. Once the appt was made, I texted with AI model # and description of issue until the tech called to tell me he was enroute. Unfortunately, he (we) could not duplicate the issue and it was working fine when he arrived. Based on the error code and symptoms, he ordered a part since it was still covered under warranty and scheduled an appt for install. The next tech that came did not call when enroute and was not prepared for the appointment. He had all kinds of opinions on new and pricey appliances and suggested that I let the machine 'rest' in between loads -- seriously?? He didn't think that t

He didn’t listen. The refrigerator has been charged before by another technician. He charged it again and told me it was fixed. Why is the refrigerator losing refrigerant? He insisted he fixed it, but how is it fixed when it loses refrigerant? I can’t trust that it won’t stop working again. He was also peeved he had to drive far to get to my house. This was a warranty repair, I had no control over who Frigidaire called.

Technician refused to provide a paper copy or an emailed copy of the invoice after asked several times. He simply provided a receipt, receives his $127.00 or $129.00 10 monutes diagnostic pay. He simply said the compressor is no good. Therefore, the warranty which would expired 9 days later could not be used by my insurance company to file a claim without an invoice directly stating the problem with my freezer gor a replacement. I went the following week and bought a new freezer from Lowe's. Sears Appliances Repair Company will never be utilized by me in the future with their most unprofessional and trifling so-called Technician. He only wanted the money with a lousy receipt. I will never recommend Sears Appliances Repair Company to anyone!!! Much prayer!!!

The service technician was very friendly and diagnosed the problem but did not have parts to fix the issue at the time of the appointment. Not his fault. I gave our home warranty all the information that they needed so that we could get it fixed after waiting a month for service. So now we have to wait approximately 2 more weeks to get our fridge fixed. Got the fridge fixed in less than 2 weeks!! Can’t wait to finally fill my fridge with food! Technician was efficient!
