Sears Appliance Repair

The team was easy to schedule with. I would love to see the appointment window to get tighter than 8 hours and it would be nice to get a 30 min heads up before they do arrive. The two repair folks that came out were super kind and helpful.

three visits were required - diagnosis, ordering parts, partly fixed, then final fix. all the repairmen, Dale, Gary and Ben, were knowledgable, friendly, and moved things forward. I wish it could be done all in one day, but that's not realistic. What pleases me is that it is now done well - a new motherboard, new icemaker and valve, and my lovely french door refrig/freezer is as good as new! I do have a service contract with Sears, so only paid the deductible. These are photos BEFORE the skilled repairmen. Now you can look on line for new Frigidaire Gallery and see what my 8 year old machine looks like!

Waited 8 hrs one Monday, 5 hrs in Friday just to be told they probably couldn’t get to me until the following Monday. Wait time window on Monday is 8am-12p…. And no communication from the tech ever after calling me and stating he would arrive within the next 30-35 minutes.. come to find out after rescheduling for the same day but in the afternoon, the tech that called and said he would be there in 30-35 minutes, went home sick….. no notification from him or the company. The WHOLE system is AI so you cant get anyone on the phone!! The saving grace? I got a call finally from another tech, Gary, who said I was just added to his schedule but he probably couldn't make it until late/if at all. I explained my situation. He said he was going to call the company (wish I could have done that instead

Knowledgeable and educational! I learned some things to keep my washing machine in good working order and James provided top-notch service 👍 my washing machine was built in 2003.

The technicians- Dale in particular- were great! Ordering the parts took a long time and information on the ETA/scheduling was a mess. The first two appts were rescheduled due to the tech being overbooked or scheduled to arrive outside of the window they gave me. The fact that there is no human to talk to is terrible- only AI! But, the work done- when parts arrived- was high quality.
