Sears Appliance Repair

My washer needed the electronic control panel replaced. SHS does not offer any live customer support (100% AI only) and because I had no desire to pay an additional $75 to sign up for their appliance warranty, I do not have access to a detailed receipt. Only a total for the repair which included parts and labor. Both the service technician and repair Technician were great.

Jon is the best technician out there. He is very knowledgeable and very thorough at what he does. I really enjoy talking to him and always love it when I know he is coming to work on my stuff!

John was very efficient and showed me a picture of the part that my dryer needed but failed to give me an estimate of the total price of part plus labor! I was shown that at the end of the repair! So I didn't have the option to decline the repair. For a few dollars more, I could have bought a new dryer on Black Friday sale price. But otherwise, I was very satisfied with my service.

Kenneth was efficient and skilled. He correctly diagnosed the problem and Once the part was received, installed it efficiently. The only negative to the experience was part that required 3 orders to get one that wasn't broken resulting in a two week delay of service.

We’ll hear we go again, today is the 4th visit by a technical. He was supposed to be here at 8-5 today, then I get a text saying it will be after 5pm. I gave the last tech a 1 star is just to show something. You may have read my first message where the repairman, broke the cover plate , which is no longer available, that goes around the refrigerator door for the ice maker and water dispenser. He reported that i The Frig functioned OK AND THEREFOR would not be covered to replace the refrigerator. He also damaged the paint on door because he did not know how to properly remove cover plate. they are sending another tech today, for something but now the ice maker has stopped working.
