Sears Appliance Repair

Although we signed up for text messages to know when our repair person was coming during the 8 am to 5 pm window- they emailed us instead !!! I was not checking my email just watching for a text. I never got a text . Luckily we were home when the technician arrived. The repair was done and we are pleased that the fridge is working again.

The repair man was here 10 minutes. He told us that our machine would need a whole new door at 854 dollars and that our door was one piece and he could not get parts for it. We ordered the part online and fixed it ourselves. The part cost 38.88 plus S&H.

John was great! He was prompt, knowledgeable and very polite. Since I have the warranty, my repair was covered. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

Two Different sears repairman came out to repair dryer. The first one, Stephen,was professional and ordered parts, the second one, Bob, who showed up to repair the dryer, screamed at me, and my mother. Said the first one should be fired and took the parts away, saying he ordered the wrong items. The second repair man ordered a timer for the dryer, which was installed today. The dryer still doesn’t work! I am unable to reach a living, breathing body to discuss this issue.

Several visits and oven still doesn't work correctly. Tech turned oven on, didn't wait long enough to see if it was working correctly, and left the appointment. Tech set it for 250, and after about ten minutes it was only at 100, he obviously didn't care and just left. Tech damaged the floor in two places. The oven has been pulled out several times by other techs without issue, he took no care in moving it. Tech was very flippant and just going thru the motions. Techs know the oven can't be fixed and aren't even trying at this point. We set a preheat this evening for 450 and after one hour hasn't reached that temp.
