Sears Appliance Repair

Technicians were great once they were able to do their job. Same recall issue and I was charged an additional service fee. The automated system is awful. No direct number to live agent to explain topics that are not multiple choice. Did a chat 2 times. Was told they would get back to me asap. I received 3 of the same part. Sear overall is terrible. AI has crippled your technicians.

My problem isn’t with the job, the guys completed the work and were very helpful, it’s with the customer service. The customer service is all AI, no live human can be reached! If you ask to speak to a human it’ll offer you $30 off your service. I had to place 3 calls over the course of a month just to get 1 repair done. The first guy came and did a diagnostic, and because I was using a warranty, and the warranty company needed to verify before approving the fix he had to leave, and once the guy close out a ticket it can’t be reopened. I had to call in and place a new ticket, just to get an AI that could not link my 2 visits together. I had to call the guy who came out and he had to call his manager a few times just to find a way to get my dishwasher part ordered! It was a mess, if it wasn’

My wife and I think that he knows a lot about Refrigerator repair. We feel very satisfied with his repair on our unit.

He was friendly and professional and cleaned up after himself. Explained what was causing the problem. He was 5 out of 5 stars!

The tech didn’t say much. He did complete the work in a timely manner. However he was here to replace the water valve which did fix that problem. He replaced a fan that blows air from the freezer to the ice maker The ice maker is on but not making ice. The lights he replaced did not fix that issue either. I’m not happy about this service call as only one out of three issues was repaired. I will be contacting customer service tomorrow.
