Sears Appliance Repair

The repairman was great, but going through the AI. Sears communication was terrible in every sense of the word! Sears also stood me up for of my appointments after I had managed my schedule to be there one day all afternoon and the next day all morning and they never showed up at all. Once the weekend passed I finally got a man at my house who overstayed his time in order to make me his last customer at seven at night, and he was very professional and considerate.

My father is 87 years old and was extremely displeased with the service provided to our leaking refrigerator flooding our kitchen. He had to pay for the service call, however, the issue was not resolved. We had to purchase the filter part from Amazon and my father had to install the part himself. He is elderly with numerous health conditions. When I reached out to the technician for clarification of the problem, he did not respond. Because of this, we cannot recommend Sears service repair to any of our friends, family, coworkers, or clients. Thank you.

Your tech said there was a restriction in the lines that caused the metering device to fail. We had Collins Comfort heating out for a second opinion the next day and they said there was no restriction in the lines that your tech had mis diagnosed the problem. Your tech didn't even give me a written report that shows what he claimed to be wrong with the heater. Very poor service. I won't use Seats again.

3/4/2026 Today’s experience was wonderful. Everything went smoothly. I called today to make an appointment and was scheduled for today. Tam was my repair service provider again. I couldn’t get the old filter out to replace it. Tam showed me what to do so hopefully next time the filter needs replacing I can do it. I have always had trouble changing it out. Older post. Tam did a great job fixing my refrigerator. He gets a five star rating. He had to order parts , so he came back once the parts came in to fix it. Originally, I was very disappointed with the Sears AI only option to have a tech come out. They canceled on me 3× . Three days. I sat here waiting and finally it was assigned to Tam on the fourth time and he came out. AI was the only way to reschedule . The options

Our tech was nice enough, but as stated by so many others, part not available, even if it was it was $900 dollars, etc etc. only could talk to AI so waited 4 hours and was told my appt was cancelled (by another AI) only to have him show up 1 minute before the end of time allotment. Waste of money, don’t bother.
