Sears Appliance Repair

Our furnace went out on Jan 2nd of 2026. We are new home owners and are still under a home warranty so we made a claim. The first company they connected us with canceled 3 different times. After speaking to the HWA, they put our claim back out and Sears received it. We were communicated with nearly daily via texts of reminders of the upcoming appointment. On the day of our appointment (01/20/2026) our technician arrived in the time window that was provided. Ronald was extremely kind, professional and took his time with assessing our problem. We were previous quoted a very high rate for just a fix to get the furnace running again. Technicians are professional. The company has problems with their technology. It canceled my service appointment because their system thought part did not arrive. AI system only and kept telling me part had not arrived and did not want to reschedule my appointment. Terrible coordination and sent new tech who was not given original order and service info. Good lucky trying to talk with a human and when you do they act like AI even when they are human and don’t help. Much to be desired customer service. I do not recommend for this reason.

Very quick, personable, and respectful. The fact that my appointment was added to his route so quickly was great. Especially since I recently had a horrible experience with another HVAC company before Sears.

Knowledgeable and skilled tech! I’d have him back in a heartbeat. Waited over a month for a part that never showed up then he came and solved the problem without the new part which apparently had been cancelled. Wish he had been here a month ago!!!

This was an extremely frustrating experience to have the cooling fan replaced in my oven. Service call # 1 diagnosed a new cooling fan was needed. Service call # 2 the fan was installed and was the wrong fan. 2nd fan was ordered. Call #3 Tech came to install the 2nd fan and left before I could get to the door to let him in and he left and I had NO WAY of calling him back to turn around and come back.3rd call the 2nd fan was ordered incorrectly again and did not have an electrical connector.3rd fan was ordered. Call #4 tech finally installed the proper fan. 6 weeks with no oven.
