Sears Appliance Repair

This is the third time I’ve used this service (appliances break a lot these days, sadly) and this is the third time it was a great experience. Richard was super nice, knowledgeable and professional. Easy to schedule appointments and get updates. Parts arrive fast too. Definitely recommend this service.

Absolutely Useless Service – Worst Experience Ever This is by far the worst service experience I have ever had. I have been trying to get my LG front-load washer repaired since October in the Poconos area, and after four months, Sears Home Services has done absolutely NOTHING. Technicians either never show up or cancel at the last minute without warning. Appointment after appointment wasted. No respect for customers’ time, no accountability, no professionalism. Trying to contact Sears is a complete joke. You cannot reach a real human being, only useless AI and automated messages that lead nowhere. LG claims their hands are tied, which makes this entire setup even more ridiculous. Four months without a washer and still no solution. This company is clearly incapable of providing basic repair

On top of being knowledgeable and professional, Darrin was kind, patient and friendly... even at the end of a long shift. He pinpointed our washer's problem, and now we have a functioning appliance again. We're appreciative!

Prompt, professional, and he didn't try to steer me into any expensive repairs. He diagnosed the issue and showed me what I needed to do to fix it as my dishwasher was improperly installed.

A disaster from start to finish. First, when one tries to make an appointment the only option is to chat with and AI Bot. Access to a human is not possible. Second, the arrival widow is 8AM to 5PM with no way to narrow it. Third, a call from the technician on the arrival day is promised to narrow the window. Ours came at 5PM. Fourth, I scheduled service for a fridge and washer; they sent a technician that could only handle washers; there was no record of a service request for the fridge. Fifth, the technician could not find the washer model on the Sears system even while the Bot assured me that the band was in scope. Sixth, without the ability to reference the model, no service was possible. Quite a day, no?
