Sears Appliance Repair

To be fair schedule online was easy. Unfortunately, no communications, no agent or contact to talk to for an update, and already an hour outside of arrival window. Going to try a different provider. I would take any communication of late arrival but no updates warrants a different customer service experience. Hope others have a better experience!

Joshua is very professional take he's time to diagnose the situation. Always has on a mask and booties to protect my safety and his. But honestly, I could not recommend Sears' home protection plan. But as far as the technician, I never had a problem with Joshua or Kevin or anyone else that ever came from them. But as far as the warranty program, Sears professionalism. Everything is virtually computer-generated, and they have problems delegating responsibilities. I'm still waiting on a dishwasher to be installed that was delivered December 3rd of 2024. Technicians are fine, but the Sears warranty program is not desirable. But still collecting monthly fees but not honoring their contract. Terrible experience with this place. Originally scheduled for my dryer to be serviced the afternoon on Wed, Nov 19. Just as I arrived home from work (left at 1pm bc I had to take time off), I received a phone call from the technician stating that he wouldn’t be able to make it that day. He rescheduled for Sat, Nov 22. Technician arrived at the end of the day and though he was a kind enough person, he physically couldn’t complete the fix bc my dryer was in a tight space. He apologized and rescheduled me with a different technician in the afternoon on Tues, Nov 25. Tuesday afternoon I received a text from Sears Home Services stating that they had rescheduled me for Mon, Dec 1. I am an extremely patient person and I understood that stuff happens and they needed to reschedule the first time. I

Just the worst experience. I have had someone out three times and my dishwasher still doesn't work. My appointment was canceled five different times by them. It has been over a month dealing with this without any resolution. The number they posted in the last bad review only gives you more AI that doesn't actually help. The entire operation feels like a scam- might be. Worth reporting them. Don't use them. If I could give no stars I would. My dishwasher is still broken, and I have paid them $300.00 for nothing. ***Thank you for proving my point with your reply. All I get is a link to the website and a phone number that only gets you AI. No way to speak to an actual person about my problem. Are the responses AI too????***

Dan was very honest and helpful. Sears sends you a text with an approximate time the tech will be there and how many stops away they are. All of this was VERY helpful. I would use their service again. It was $150 for them to come out regardless. I think that’s a bit much but it is what it is.
