Sears Appliance Repair

Our built in wall oven needed the bake heating element replaced. The diagnosis was spot on, the service person did an excellent job within the expected time parameters. However, the pricing seemed high. After the diagnostic visit, the "fix it" visit took about 90 minutes and was priced at just under $350. The pricing for the part was $125 more than if I purchased the part from the manufacturer. I am impressed with the work and disappointed in the value. Have doubts about using the service again. It have tried to contact Sears Home Services to further explain my concerns about the value I received, and have become extremely frustrated as I am dealing with AI and no humans. Luis was on time. He was very professional. He explained everything to me. I was very happy with him. He was a very nice repairman. I would definitely call him again.

Derrick was great, and that is what the 5 stars are for. I guess, the system is managed by AI therefore there’s poor communication and multiple appointments being confirmed. There appears to be no way to figure out when you should be available for the ‘real’ window of time which is 4 hours. You can’t talk to a human person! Frustrating but I am happy to have my washing machine working!

Anthony has worked on our AC and furnace for years and you couldn’t ask for a better Technician. His customer service skills are the best and he always makes sure you understand what is going on with either my furnace or ac. That’s very important to me as a woman who doesn’t know anything about either.

They were originally scheduled to come after the new year and I was able to get sooner appointment. Service man came within 2 hours of rescheduling, called ahead to let me know he was 10 minutes away, and was efficient in repairing our appliance. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
