Sears Appliance Repair

My recent experience with Sears Home Repair has been extremely disappointing. There is no access to a live agent, and everything is routed through an AI agent, which repeatedly insists that appointments are scheduled—even when they clearly are not. The technician was unable to diagnose a straightforward issue, and instead suggested replacing multiple parts “to see what works,” which feels like a waste of time, money, and resources. It gave the impression that they prefer trial‑and‑error over actual troubleshooting. Scheduling has been another major problem. They set appointments multiple times, and never showed up. After waiting more than five hours, the AI system still claimed the appointment was active, while another agent sent a message saying it was canceled. The lack of coordination

Kevin called to let us know he was on his way and to make sure parts had arrived at our house and we were ready for him. Followed up on last technician to assure the same problem was still occurring, and it was. After installing part and further troubleshooting it was determined our refrigerator could not be fixed. Kevin stated we’d receive a phone call in the next day or two from Sears as they would be replacing the entire unit. Kevin was very prompt, knowledgeable and professional.

Jason was fantastic, got the job done quickly and left the area clean. Great communication as well.

Dont recommend. Use a local company with a person that you cam actually talk to on the phone. This place sent someone to fix my leaking dishwasher. Charged me $140 and said it was fixed. Started leaking again right away. I cant get ahold of anyone in person to talk to. I set up an appointment to have some one come out again and they didn't show up after giving me a 9 hour window of time that they would show up. Update: I unsurprisingly got the same generic response that they give to every bad review. You can call that number they give you all that you want. You cant get in touch with a person, just an AI bot that would love to set up an appointment for you. They wont resolve anything for you.

I couldn’t be any happier with Williams’s service that he provided today. He gave me a complete understanding of the problem and the exact cost of what it was going to take to fix. Yes a little pricey, but considering my circumstance, it was worth the price. The only issue I have is this automated system. This call was canceled once by your system the day before yesterday. The reason for The cancellation was not given. It was changed to today between eight and 12pm. It disturbed me that I did not get any call telling me of the time change until around 5 PM Wednesday. I was not happy. It was a good thing that it wasn’t canceled today and the tech was really very good that helped.
