Sears Heating and Air Conditioning

Excellent product demonstration. From demo to product manager measurements to make sure it was right. I purchased windows. They gave me 3 options and explained each. So I chose what I wanted...and they have to be custom made...and in few weeks...installation done...professional...careful and they look awesome. They did their thing....cleaned up excellently afterwards. Very satisfied. Had two picture windows replace. Here is a before and after photos. The door in the middle is also being replaced but at a later date. Highly recommend this company for windows.

Installation was fine but NO customer service after job finished. Sears TransformHome Improvement repair and service is TERRIBLE and totally unprofessionable. They did not show up several times for scheduled appointments or showed up without the needed parts for the repair (even though they required payment prior to arriving). They refused to give out any phone numbers (to corporate, repair or billing departments, or anyone who could solve the problems). They refused to give me a copy of the estimate (even though it is required by law), and I never have received my repair that was paid for in advance 3 MONTHS ago! Do NOT ever use this company!

I could not recommend SEARS Transform Home Improvement more. Of the dozens of contractors and sales people I’ve met Richard was a genuine, professional, prompt, respectful and friendly associate who assured I was getting the best products (Carrier mini split AC system plus blown in attic fiberglass insulation) at the best value. He came on short notice and was always calling and messaging me regarding status updates and how the install was going. When he first came by we sat down at the kitchen table and enjoyed each other’s company while he also shared his own advice and personal experiences without being overbearing. I would definitely recommend his service to all!

Horrible customer service. So difficult to get a hold of a live person and when you do they continue to transfer you when requesting to speak to a manager. The call ended up with the "supervisor", Marie, pretending she couldn't hear me. I've waited over 3 months to get my washer fixed. I paid a large amount to still have the same issue. Sears use to be such a reputable company. What a disappointment this is no longer the case. If you need service repair, I would recommend to contact another company, unless you don't mind wasting time and money.

The positive: The sales guy Jesse was very helpful and explained everything and worked hard to set up the deal. The installers (outside contractors) were very professional and knowledgeable. They took pride in their work and did a great job. The negative: The project managers for Sears are incompetent. My job was scheduled a month and a half in advance. The equipment and machines were never ordered. I took vacation time to be at home for the install, but since the equipment and hardware wasn't ordered in time, the project could not start on time. This was complete incompetence. How do you not order all the stuff when you have 1.5 months to do it!
