Sears Heating and Air Conditioning

Home warranty service had Sears come out for a service call about my AC not cooling. The technician said that my drain line was clogged and he could clear it for $77. He blew into the pipe with his mouth. My AC did start cooling again. Its stopped cooling a few days later. Sears says they don't clear clogged drain lines and told me to call a plumber. My issue is the tech charged me to clear my AC drain which is according to Sears they do not do. I only learned that later upon asking Sears. Now I have to call a plumber and I am out $77 for Sears and $70 for home warranty service call. Do not call them, they are confused about what they do and don't do.

We had windows installed this weekend. I love the windows we can already see the difference with our ac unit. The crew was great. They worked hard and got the job done quickly. They left no mess behind. We were very impressed and would recommend that crew to everyone.

Terrible customer service! First of all, the only appointments you can get with them are scheduled with a window of 8-5 so you have to take the entire day off of work just to have them come out which is ridiculous. I should have realized then that I should choose a local AC company for this maintenance call and not Sears with a customer service call center to have to go through. I have a 1 year old Rheem system, top of the line. The AC app that connects with my phone notified me that it was time for a maintenance call because they recommend maintenance once a year. I scheduled with Sears and they came out and did the cleaning. Cost $129. The sales team were amazing. Extremely informative and patient, but the installation crew was very disappointing. I was so excited to get my new windows but deflated when I was told it would take 2 trips to do it in. I feel the personal problems of the installers is not my problem and it should have been handled better. Also who goes to houses to install Windows knowing your going to be in and out of people's homes everyday and be petrified of dogs?? Totally inconvient to lock up and have to walk my dogs for 2 days all day because he was afraid of them. Get an office job or a job where your not going to strangers homes with a very good possibility of seeing dogs.
