I strongly advise others to avoid working with this contractor. After assisting on a job at my home, I discovered I had been overcharged $2,959.86 for construction materials. Verified receipts from Home Depot showed the actual material cost was $8,987.51, yet I was billed $11,947.37 — a 33% markup with no explanation, no itemization, and no justification provided. Even worse, the contractor did not supply the materials we agreed upon. Instead, he purchased the lowest-quality option available, despite our clear discussions about using higher-grade materials. So not only was I overbilled — I was also delivered inferior results using materials I never approved. When questioned, the contractor initially promised to provide additional receipts or proof of costs; neither of which was provided.
