See 12/9/2025 update below. We replaced both of our AC & heating units (upstairs and downstairs, inside and outside) and added whole house filters to both units in July 2020. I got three estimates from local contractors and found that Freedom had not only the best price but also the best maintenance plan. They've been servicing our units twice yearly since then. There were a few minor glitches along the way, but everything has been taken care of to our satisfaction with no problem. Their most recent visit was in June 2025. Their tech, Caleb, found a few issues, but cleaned and serviced all the units as part of Freedom's maintenance plan and we're ready for the summer! Jesse Deloney came to my home today because my heat was not working. He was professional, knowledgeable of an older furnace and went right to work. I highly recommend Freedom Heating & Cooling and Jesse.

This is a great company that has taken care of me and my business for many years. They are prompt, polite, honest, and very knowledgeable. Recently, Jordan and Owen, along with the nice folks who answered my phone calls for help, really went above and beyond. The main issue ended up being a problem with my city gas meter and not even my HVAC unit, but Jordan and Owen came to my office 3 separate times, 2 of them unscheduled , to help me out in a bind to make sure I had heat. Being a small business owner who values honesty and good old-fashioned customer service, I am truly thankful to have Service Experts in Birmingham to take care of me. Great job!

My brother and his wife paid for them to service their AC monthly after the installation. When they came they weren't doing their jobs correctly, causing water damage and the subsequent caving in of their ceiling a month before their baby was due. The company literally refuses to speak to them to this day. I'd give 0 stars if I could because they got money from them monthly, didn't do it correctly, and now won't make it right. The only silver lining is that the baby wasn't born yet or this fiber glass would have been in his crib with him.

Technicians took time to do a very thorough assessment of issue before diagnosing root cause. Upon determining issue, they were able to resolve problem during visit. We also appreciated the time taken to ensure we understood how to operate the newly installed thermostat. Great job!
