Sharp Contracting

After getting several quotes, we chose Sharp Contracting to do our Pool Deck Restoration—basically deep cleaning, crack and spalling repair, re-texturing, and new coating. Everyone we met was courteous and professional. Got a formal quote, sketch and detailed explanation of the work and cost breakdown, including a ‘flex discount’ for being flexible as to when we got the work done. Our technician was very good, showed up right on time, and was thorough and meticulous through each step of the process. We had several areas of deeper/wider cracks of ½” or more, and they took care of all of them The new deck looks great and comes with a 2 year warranty. Sharp recently completed the pool deck resurfacing at our home. They did an excellent job. It looks great, they were prompt and responsive. Positive experience and the decking looks like new again.

We paid over $6k to redo our front a back patios in 2024. The project took way longer than promised and only excuses to follow. The colors we selected from their show room did not match at all to the finished product we expected and paid for. The manager was very rude (he should be fired) when confronted and the person who did the work did a sloppy job and never finished even after I met with him to show him the issues. The guy mentioned his wife had been in the hospital for quite some time leaving him to care for their kids. Feeling sorry for him I gave him a gift card and other gift items. I heard from another source this was his same story. Needless to say, our outdoor patio looks like crap. Bait and switch .. offer not honored After receiving several estimates for a major fix to our pool, we liked Sharp Contracting the best... Unfortunately we did not have the cash on hand to move forward. Imaging my surprise and delight when I received a letter from Sharp Contracting offering us a %40 discount on repairs, along with a new quote, and a price we could afford. When I called the Contractor, I was told they would not honor the offer, due to a statement on the letter that some restrictions apply. I asked what the new quote would be, and was told it was just a few hundred dollars less then the original $29k quote. This is purely a bait and switch, and I am extremely disappointed.

I regret using this company. The job they did was OK. Not great but not bad. The frustration has been the issues after. Stamped concrete cracks. It happens. But supposed have a 2 year warranty to fix. It takes FOREVER for them to respond. And this last time they were out they were late so I couldn't be there and they didnt repair all the cracks and used a wrong color..... Now the OK project looks like crap
