Sheboygan County Highway Dept - South District

I'm not sure if this is the office that answered my phone call but I'm going to leave this review anyway. I had a political sign stolen off my lawn recently. I read somewhere online that county employees may remove signs that were left in the right of way as mine was so I called the Hwy Dept. to see if they had my sign. I was told by a very courteous employee that they do not pick up or remove signs. Occasionally, they may knock on a door to inform a resident that a sign is improperly in the right of way. This employee very carefully explained how signs could distract a driver especially at a corner intersection such as the one I live on. I just wanted to say that I could not have been more pleased by this thorough, courteous and professional as well as prompt response to my inquiry.
