HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This company was wonderful to work with and Jay was really awesome. He was very thorough and professional and explained everything he was doing and what he was seeing as he went through the house. I called at least six different companies for my home inspection and based on customer service, price and what they offer, Sherwood was the my choice and I definitely made the right one after this experience!

Wayne got to the house for our home inspection before we did, and had already begun his exterior look around when we arrived! I was imediatley greeted with a smile, and soon after with pleasant conversation about his many decades in construction! It was so evident of Wayne's incredible level of knowledge and experience, as he found every small issue with the property that most would have missed! Our realtor recommended I call and ask for Michelle. I am so thrilled I did! Michelle arrived on time and immediately laid out what the process was going to be. I have a small house (almost 1200 sq ft) and she spent almost two hours going over every inch of the property inside and out. She then spent an additional hour going over every single thing and made sure to lay out what was critical, upgradeable and things to be aware of. EXTREMELY knowledgeable and professional. Sherwood Inspection Service recently inspected my house. Michelle G. was my inspector. She emphasized from the start that she was there on my behalf, that she was working for me and had no other interest. Michelle was extremely detailed and thorough. She spent hours with me and my friends who came for moral support. She answered all our questions with patience and an abundance of knowledge. It was an education that I needed and appreciated. I just had home inspection Dec 2025.He missed out that there is no dryer vent and no washer receptacle in the laundry room.Did not also notice the continuity of the roof gutter. Now Im making all these repairs.I tried to send an email and text but no response. Other than that everything in the report was fine.So try to research other inspection company if none then Sherwood is your last option..
