Shields Septic Tanks & Hardware

We had a brand new septic system put down when we built our house 14 yrs ago and within a year had to have it pumped out and since then every other year which we shouldn't have had to do it period, well since before thank we have had it pumped out 4 times and we now have to put new field.lines down. It has never worked properly. Whatever you do, I wouldn't let him put it down , and the biggest thing is he thinks he's done anything wrong, he should have known when he came out the first time that something was wrong.

I called them to see if they can fix the issue we're having with our septic system. Sam said he'd come out and look, after several calls back I finally got him to come look at it. I agreed to the price, I told him to schedule it. Well that day came and went, they were a no show. I called them to reschedule, and they didn't show again. I tried to call back several times with no answer. I'm sure they're screening my phone calls because they don't want the work. if you can't do the work just be honest and tell the customer. Shields use to be a good company, not sure what happened but they have horrible service now. I definitely wouldn't recommend!

I have use Shields Septic Tank & Hardware for years and have always been very pleased with the service performed however, today is totally different. Last Monday, April 12, 2021 I went to Shields in Helena, Ms. to make an appointment to have my septic tank pumped out the following Friday. I was told that due to my location I would be the first stop they would make on Friday morning. My wife did not work that day so she could be home when they arrived. No one came so I returned to the store at 4:30 Friday evening to see if there was a misunderstanding about the address or appointment time. At first I was told they had forgot to write down my information but I reminded them that I was standing there face to face when it was written down. He finally found the information and said that the

They were easy to work with.showed up as scheduled,was pretty quick for having a full septic.same man came that came 5 yrs ago and put a riser on my tank.also he clarified that I do have a field drain cause he put it in..what's that tell ya,employees stay long term,that's always good.i Recomend these guys 100%.

This company was awesome to deal with. I called to have my septic tank pumped expecting to have to wait a day or two. Instead they came out the same day. They were very professional and friendly. Will definitely use them again.
